Spring Clean Your Finances

Springtime is a great time to clean house! While you are doing your “Spring Cleaning,” do not forget to take time to clean up your finances. Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Inventory Your Belongings
Do you know what you have in your home? You probably have homeowners or renters insurance for a loss, theft, or damage, but do you have a video inventory or a list of your possessions that may need replacement? You should inventory your belongings and place your video or list in a safe place like at work, in a safe deposit box, or with a trusted relative. Update your inventory on a regular basis.
